This module introduces participants to the Proprietary Security Officer (PSO) training program and establishes the foundation for the coursework that follows. Participants will receive an overview of the program’s purpose, scope, structure, and expectations, including how the 16 training modules work together to develop core PSO competencies. The module also introduces the role and responsibilities of a Proprietary Security Officer and the legal framework associated with the profession, helping participants understand what to expect from the training and how the course prepares them for their responsibilities as a PSO.
