Built by a security company, for security companies

MyGuardForce is built by AEGIS Security & Investigations — a licensed operator that needed its own compliance problem solved properly, and built the platform it wanted to use.

Why we built it

Credentials change daily. Most companies check twice.

A guard card lapses. A firearms permit gets suspended. A state quietly revises a renewal rule, and the officer standing post tonight is no longer eligible to be there — nobody gets a phone call.

The industry standard is to verify at hire and again at renewal. Everything in between runs on trust and spreadsheets. We know, because we were the ones keeping the spreadsheets.

So MyGuardForce started as the system AEGIS wanted for itself: one record per officer, watched continuously, so compliance is a status you can look at rather than a fire drill you survive.

What lives in that one record

State credentials — guard cards, firearms permits, and local endorsements across 50 states, each with its own renewal clock.
Everything else that expires — driver's licenses, first aid, and concealed-carry permits tracked alongside the state credentials.
Training and qualification — assignments, completions, and certificates attached to the officer they belong to, not a separate system.
The paper trail — every status change timestamped and searchable, ready to export for a client or a state inspector.

What the platform actually does

Three tightly-integrated modules that share one source of truth about every officer in your force.

Compliance

Credentials watched continuously

Map each officer to the exact licenses, permits, and background checks their state and post require, then keep that status current against live 50-state rules instead of re-checking it by hand.

Training

Qualified, not just certified

Assign courses, track completions, and keep certificates attached to the officer they belong to — so "trained" and "licensed" get answered from the same record.

Reporting

Audit-grade by default

Compliance reports across the whole force, reviewed and approved in one queue, timestamped and exportable for any client, contract, or inspector on demand.

What we hold ourselves to

Rules the product is built against — the reason certain fields stay empty instead of guessing.

We never guess a compliance value

If a training requirement, renewal period, or wage threshold can't be verified against its source, the field stays empty and gets flagged for a human. An empty field is honest. An unsourced number is a liability you'd inherit.

The record has to survive an audit

Every status change is timestamped and searchable. If you can't hand it to an inspector without tidying it up first, it isn't finished.

It has to work on a night shift

The people using this are staffing posts and covering call-offs, not admiring software. Every screen has to survive a phone, a hurry, and bad lighting.
