  • Archived Employee refers to an individual whose profile or data is maintained on the Website but who is no longer actively linked to a specific Active Organization.
  • BSIS refers to the California Bureau of Security and Investigative Services.

2. No Warranties and Data Accuracy Disclaimer

2.1 “As-Is” Service: The Website and all content, data, and services are provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

2.4 Other Verification Requirements: Users are hereby notified that the Website does not validate data in user accounts. Users must independently verify all certifications, certificates, and records with the employee to confirm the current standing of any individual or entity. 2.5 Subscription Pricing and Refunds: Subscription pricing is billed annually per employee, is not proratable, and is non-refundable (except where required by law).

3. Data Collection and Commercial Use

3.1 Consent to Share: By using the Website, you provide express consent for AEGIS to collect and share your data (including professional history and contact info) with third parties for commercial purposes.

3.2 Purpose: This includes providing training resources and other opportunities to Archived Employees, and offering industry-related resources to Active and Inactive Organizations.

3.3 Notifications and Opt-Out: AEGIS and the Website may send you notifications regarding account updates, training, features, or promotions. Users may opt out of these notifications at any time through their account settings or the unsubscribe link in any communication.

4. Limitation of Liability

  • Liability Cap: The total aggregate liability of AEGIS Security & Investigations Inc. and MyGuardForce.com to any Organization (including its employees and agents) for any and all claims arising out of or related to the use of the Website shall not exceed $1,000.00 USD.

5. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless AEGIS Security & Investigations Inc., MyGuardForce.com, and their respective officers, directors, and employees from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with:

  1. Your access to or use of the Website.
  2. Your violation of these Terms and Conditions.
  3. Any reliance by you or a third party on data obtained through the Website without independent verification.
