47E Crime Scenes

This module prepares security professionals to respond appropriately when an incident results in a potential crime scene. Participants will examine different types of crime scenes, proper evidence preservation practices, and the responsibilities of security personnel when securing and managing an area until law enforcement arrives. The training emphasizes protecting people, preventing contamination or loss of evidence, maintaining professionalism under pressure, and understanding the legal and ethical considerations involved in crime scene response. By completing this module, participants will be better prepared to secure crime scenes, preserve evidence, document and communicate critical information, and support law enforcement investigations while maintaining safety and professional standards.
