This course provides focused training for security professionals responsible for protecting bars, restaurants, and clubs during active shooter incidents. Participants will develop practical knowledge of threat recognition, situational awareness, evacuation and escape strategies, hiding and taking cover, and last-resort defensive actions when confronted with an immediate threat. This module prepares security professionals working in bars, restaurants, and clubs to recognize and respond effectively to active shooter incidents in crowded and fast-moving environments. Participants will examine threat identification and situational awareness, evacuation and safe escape strategies, hiding and taking cover when evacuation is not possible, and defensive action as a last resort when facing an immediate threat. The training emphasizes rapid decision-making, awareness of exits and surroundings, minimizing exposure to danger, and adapting response actions to the conditions of the incident.
