74G Intro to Interdisciplinary Threat Assessment Teams

This module introduces security professionals to the purpose, structure, and operation of Interdisciplinary Threat Assessment Teams in workplace violence prevention. Participants examine the pathway to violence and pre-incident indicators, the roles and responsibilities involved in assembling a threat assessment team, investigative resources that can support the assessment process, and the importance of accurate documentation and report writing. The training emphasizes information sharing, collaboration, role clarity, and diverse professional perspectives when evaluating potential threats. Participants will be better prepared to contribute effectively to a coordinated threat assessment process and support early identification and management of workplace violence risks.
