Module
67A Active Shooter Response in Bars, Restaurants and Clubs
This module prepares security professionals working in bars, restaurants, and clubs to recognize and respond effectively to active shooter incidents in crowded and fast-moving environments. Participants will examine threat identification and situational awareness, evacuation and safe escape strategies, hiding and taking cover when evacuation is not possible, and defensive action as a last resort when facing an immediate threat. The training emphasizes rapid decision-making, awareness of exits and surroundings, minimizing exposure to danger, and adapting response actions to the conditions of the incident. By completing this module, participants will be better prepared to act quickly and appropriately during an active shooter emergency while prioritizing their own safety and the protection of patrons, employees, and others.
