This module provides a concise briefing on essential active shooter and workplace violence response principles for situations requiring immediate, split-second decisions. It reinforces situational awareness, personal preparedness, recognition of threat vectors, evacuation techniques, cover and concealment, lockdown procedures, and the Run, Hide, Fight methodology, including fighting back only as a last resort. Participants will review the critical actions that can improve personal resilience and help them respond quickly and effectively during an active shooter incident until law enforcement arrives.
