3G WMD Incident Management and Response
This module prepares security professionals to respond appropriately when confronted with a suspected or confirmed Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) incident. Participants examine incident-management and response priorities, including calling for assistance, protecting themselves from becoming additional victims, assessing changing conditions, and supporting the safety of others while awaiting specialized responders. The training reinforces rapid decision-making and situational assessment through concepts such as the OODA Loop, helping participants evaluate what is occurring and select appropriate actions as circumstances develop. By completing this module, security professionals will be better prepared to recognize their role and limitations during a WMD event, protect themselves and others, communicate critical information, and support an organized emergency response.
